125 Years of Football Club” concept
In its anniversary year, FSV Frankfurt is launching an innovative marketing concept: “125 Years of Football Club”. For the 2024/25 season, several sponsors will be bundled under this word and figurative mark to support the 125 Years of Football Club concept and act as joint main sponsors. The corresponding merchandise collection will go on sale in the next few days.
How does this concept work?
The “125 Jahre Fussballsportverein” logo will be the main sponsor for the entire season and will adorn the chest of the professional team’s shirts. Accordingly, the logo will also appear as the main sponsor on all print and online media as well as on the sponsor boards. The supporters of this project appear by name in all media, and individual supporters are presented as “Sponsor of the day” on individual match days.
What is the advantage for FSV Frankfurt?
With this concept, FSV Frankfurt can both pursue economic goals and do justice to the club’s great tradition by keeping the shirt front free of commercial advertising. In this way, FSV’s great achievements in and around German sport are commemorated for a whole year. At the same time, this concept offers FSV the opportunity to collect an exceptionally high amount of sponsorship money if the number of supporters is high enough.
What is the advantage for supporters of this initiative?
Anyone can become part of a pool of sponsors for an amount that is considerably smaller than the usual amount for a commitment as a main sponsor and receives the right to bear and market the title “Main Sponsor of FSV Frankfurt 1899” for one year. In addition, the supporters of this initiative will be presented as main sponsors in all media on match days and in the stadium. The initiative will be presented to the public on a large scale.
