Home Games at the BBBank Arena

FSV Frankfurt plays its home matches at the BBBank Arena. From February 2018 to August 2026, PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen eG was the stadium’s title sponsor at the Bornheimer Hang. Following the merger of PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen eG with BBBank eG in late 2026, the naming rights were transferred. Consequently, the FSV’s first team will play its home matches at the BBBank Arena in future.

In July 2006, Frankfurter Volksbank e.G. had acquired the naming rights to Frankfurt’s second-largest stadium. Following the refurbishment of the three sides of the stadium – the North Stand, South Stand and Opposite Stand – the Black-and-Blues’ home ground was reopened on 23 July 2009 after a refurbishment phase lasting almost one and a half years, with a friendly match against Werder Bremen and a spectacular show. Whilst matches continued to be played, the second phase of the refurbishment – the reconstruction of the main stand – took place from January 2012. After less than a year of construction work, the new main stand was opened to spectators for the first time on 24 November 2012 for the FSV Frankfurt match against 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Since then, FSV Frankfurt has had a stadium that meets the very latest second-division standards, featuring ten boxes, a business area for over 500 VIP guests and high-quality facilities for players and all staff on match days.

Since September 2025, the south stand has been named the Richard-Herrmann Stand.

Richard Herrmann (1923–1962) is a true club legend at FSV Frankfurt: a 1954 World Cup winner in the ‘Miracle of Bern’ and a role model both on and off the pitch. In his honour, the south stand at the Bornheimer Hang was renamed the Richard Herrmann Stand. During the 2025/2026 season, our highly valued partner, PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen eG, supported us by providing 100 free tickets for each of eight home matches, which were distributed to various schools: the Richard Herrmann Stand – supported by PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen eG. This enabled schoolchildren, families and young fans to experience the real atmosphere of the stadium. A powerful demonstration of fan culture in action and the promotion of young talent – entirely in keeping with our values: preserving tradition, supporting young people, fostering a sense of community. A heartfelt thank you to our partner, PSD Bank Hessen-Thüringen eG, and to BBBank eG, which will continue to support this special project in the future!

The 12,542 spectator seats are divided into approximately 4,139 seats (all covered, blocks A to E and H to M), of which around 690 are comfortable, upholstered seats in the VIP area (including 110 box seats), and 8,367 standing places (all uncovered, blocks F, G, N and O). Blocks H (seats in the away stand) as well as F and G (standing areas) are available for visiting fans.
