FSV mourns the loss of former player and coach

FSV Frankfurt mourns the loss of Ronnald Borchers, who passed away yesterday at the age of 67 after a short and serious illness.

Ronald “Ronny” Borchers played for FSV Frankfurt’s 1st team in the Hessian Amateur-Oberliga from 1987 to 1989. Other clubs he played for during his soccer career included Frankfurter Eintracht, SV Waldhof Mannheim and Grasshopper Club Zürich.

As coach of the traditional Bornheim club, he led FSV Frankfurt from the Oberliga Hessen to the Regionalliga in the 1997/98 season.

FSV Frankfurt’s thoughts are with the family of Ronny Borchers and wishes the bereaved much strength in these difficult times.
